Glenn Parsons began his career at Calabash Animation Studios in Chicago where he animated such famous characters as the Trix Rabbit, Lucky Charms and Mr. Clean. After relocating to New York City to work with Sesame Workshop as lead animator, he contributed his skills on the popular “Journey to Ernie” segment, animated for the home video department and worked on numerous CD-Rom games.

Wanting a new challenge, Glenn spent 11 years as department supervisor and lead animator at Kinetic-Animation in Michigan. While there, Glenn and his team worked on a variety of commercials and animated episodic television shows including the hit children’s shows “The Wonder Pets!” on Nick Jr. and “3rd and Bird” on the BBC in Europe, which now airs on the Disney Channel.

He has also developed and directed several animated shorts that have been featured in festivals around the country. With his work being seen around the world and his years of experience in design and animation, the transition into designing imaginative spaces was only natural.
“During our residential installations, I always ask for the children to remain out of the space until we are finished. Once the mural has been installed, I have the parents reveal it to the children and watch their responses with great anticipation....and each and every time I realize that the reaction of the parents and their children is why I do this.”
